ASRock’s M8 Sydney Showdown!

Do you wish that you could see your favourite Australian StarCraft 2 pros battle it out against the best in the world, live in person? This is your chance!

To celebrate the launch of their brand new all-in-one gaming system, the M8, ASRock are partnering up with Oceanic eSports to bring you the rare opportunity to watch your favourite local players go head-to-head against one of the best players in the StarCraft 2 scene. On the 15th of September, some of Australia’s best will gather at University of New South Wale’s RoundHouse for the ultimate showdown.

The ASRock’s M8 Sydney Showdown will play host to a special guest as well. Some know him as the “King of Wings”, some know him as “Jürgen”. Most know him as the 4 time GSL Code S Champion, 2013 European WCS Season 1 Champion, the leading Terran player from the South Korean powerhouse, Team Incredible Miracle… Jung “Mvp” Jong Hyun!

Best of all, thanks to ASRock, the event is free to attend! So regardless of whether you’re cheering for Mvp or our local players, you should make your way down to the University of New South Wale’s RoundHouse to catch the action live! We’ve also got a bunch of awesome prizes to give away on the day thanks to ASRock, Kingston Hyper X, Antec, Intel, Genius and Team Incredible Miracle! If you’re outside of Sydney or unable to make it to the event, we will be streaming the event for you to tune into the action as well. The event will be casted by Oceanic eSport’s casters, Duckville and Zepph! You’ll be able to find the event stream at http://www.twitch.tv/oceanicesports.

We’re also giving 3 lucky people the chance to play alongside Mvp, up on the main stage. Be sure to keep an eye on our social media sites for contest details.

As we have always done with our international guests, we will be hosting a Meet and Greet session with Mvp at the end of the event, which will also be at the RoundHouse. Come down and have your photo taken with MVP, have a chat with him and get something signed! Opportunities like these don’t come along very often.

Did someone say BarCraft!? Since we’re at the RoundHouse, it’d be wrong of us not to have a Sydney BarCraft event while we’re there. The Uni Bar will be open through out the event and everyone will be able to purchase drinks from there.
